The FERI Tungsten Carbide & Plangsten

Not all Tungsten jewelry are created equal.; The FERI Tungsten Carbide & Plangsten Quality vs. the industry standard.

Tungsten is the latest metal to gain massive popularity in the jewelry world because of its unique luster and everlasting strength and quality. However Tungsten is not new to the industrial world and has been used for heavy machinery, heavy equipment and tools and even NASA for many years. It is important to know that Tungsten like other precious and none precious metals have different grades and quality.

FERI Tungsten Carbide composition is 81% of tungsten and 19% of carbon and other mix of precious and none precious metals. Our Tungsten composition is made with superior nickel-binder alloy that is hypoallergenic, chemically static and will not oxidize causing skin irritation or rashes. The industry norm being sold by the jewelers are the less expensive alternatives of pure tungsten jewelry or mix of the cobalt binder alloy. Pure Tungsten jewelry does not have the hardness of Tungsten Carbide and can scratch easily with impact and the cobalt binder alloy is harsh on the skin and can cause complication due to the fact that Cobalt mixes with skin oils, toxicity and acids that will result in oxidation.
